This beautiful necklace can be worn short or long. The chain doesn't unlatch, but if you want to switch to one that does, the pendant is hinged with a magnetic closure. The pendant has a pearly finish with rhinestones. There is one rhinestone missing at about the 2 o'clock position. Never worn, from a smoke free home!

maven953 @romanello2019 Sorry for my delayed response! There is no tarnishing, mostly due to the fact it's never been worn. I did notice a stone missing around the 2 o'clock position. I've added a closer picture of the pendant that shows that better and compares it to the size of a quarter.
