Cookie Monster Costume - Handmade Halloween Costume

Made with up-cycled materials for everything except the snap on the jacket and the felt for the cookies. The dress was a baby blanket the went through the wash and made it much less soft but also had the blue satin as the liner so it was the perfect pair to make the outfit. The faux fur is most likely from the 80s. It’s not the latest silky plush stuff we see in stores today. It was a thrift store score. The ice blue faux fur was also a thrift store score so I put it all together to make this fun Cookie Monster costume. Fits size womens 2-6 best. The dress is stretchy but the jacket doesn’t have much stretch to it. There is one pocket in the dress and various cookies sewn on the dress as well. The jacket has the back cookie sewn on but the sleeves have been gorilla glued on so they are securely attached but not sewn. The detachable hood clips on the dress or the jacket.
