Cool Faux Tortoiseshell Necklace, Vintage

This very unique necklace is really distinctive. The marks on the snaggletooth are purposeful, to look like tortoiseshell. However, as I show in the later pictures, there are tiny scratches throughout. These little marks would never be noticed by an onlooker. As the owner I don’t notice them! This necklace goes with just about anything in the summer. Questions welcome.
