Copper Lincoln Penny Turtle Vintage Tortoise Coin Money Sculpture Miniature Art

TCR0616 Handmade Turtle Coin Art made from a US Copper Lincoln Penny. The penny was a 1973 but the date is not visible. It has beautiful blue-green copper patina highlights on it. The penny was aged and domed. Then a copper armature was made to form the legs, head and tail. The armature was aged for several hours, custom fit and attached to the penny dome. Then the entire sculpture was hand-polished to add highlights. The turtle was finally filled with resin and finished off. The whole process took several hours to complete and the price reflects that. It is priced fairly and will ignore disrespectful offers. Each turtle will come out slightly different so if there is one you like, grab it quick because I list on multiple sites. I make these as a hobby and do not do custom orders. The legs were positioned at uneven lengths intentionally. It is not symmetrical on purpose. Other versions are available in my store and the website. The turtle's back is slightly smaller than a normal penny because it was domed. Each nick, scratch and imperfection tells a story. I wonder what was bought? Who handled it? Where it has been? 100% legal to make, no longer legal to spend.
