yoga4joy I've been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Have you noticed that these improve joint pain?

au334427 @sugurplum24 I have arthritis too! Psoriatic, autoimmune. Honestly, I believe these things help- esp if they are close to the skin (the bangle one is wider- I have 3 for sale, I always wore the 3 together). I also use other techniques tho- anti-inflammatory diet (VERY helpful), tumeric supplements, mutlivitamins, healing meditation exercises, etc. I have seen major improvement. I am using a muti-faceted approach, but yes, I believe they help. Best of luck and I hope you find relief!!!

yoga4joy @au334427 I have autoimmune thyroid disease too just had it cut oit in may bc of a cancer scare. Having autoimmune means trying all kinds of things to find what fits and right now I'm in a major flare up and puffy. I do yoga daily at home and then hot yoga in studio a couple times a week the days I don't practice at home. I just started turmeric in a liquid form 2 days ago. I hope it helps!! Do you see a rhuematologist?sending you healing light🍃😊

au334427 @sugurplum24 thanks and yes...I send you healing too! Do you have hashimotos? Autoimmune disorders are awful...but it sounds like you are on the right path! Do everything you can to heal your body and mind and decrease inflammation- stress makes everything worse, so keep up the yoga and anything you can do to keep your mind and spirit in a positive space! Peace and love to u!

yoga4joy @au334427 Hey! Morning. Yes I have hashimotos. I do my very best now to take good care of myself first and foremost although that's not in my nature. I've been the care taker and giver all through life, from a very young age of just 2 and 3 I was looking after my big sister Michelle, like she was the little sister and then of course my parents chose to have 7 more kids on top of us 2. There are 9 in total and even my parents always come to me for advice and guidance.

yoga4joy @au334427 I've had a lot of trauma in my life and grew up with abuse that I believe comtibutes to my autoimmune stuff. I'm 32 and feel like I'm maybe 24 but that's because even after college I moved back home for a bit to look after my younger siblings. I try so hard to set boundaries and put my needs first but it's certainly not easy bc I'm an empath with a bleeding heart. I want to solve everyone's problems and bring them peace and happiness.

yoga4joy @au334427 Getting sick over the last few years has really slowed me down and forced me to look inward. I have a long journey to my healing but I'm ready and open to it. For a long time I suppressed the emotional pain and did anything possible to put it out of my mind instead of dealing with it and allowing myself to grieve or feel what I needed to feel.

yoga4joy @au334427 I believe that the body holds every experience in the fiber of our being, in all seriousness I feel that we hold emotional pain in our physical bodies and that it manifests in all kinds of ways from pain to anxiety. I'm grateful we crosses paths. Your red hair spoke to me. When I was 21 I bleached my hair out. It took 2 trips to 2 different salons and over 18 hours

yoga4joy @au334427 to get it to look platinum and not brassy but then when my roots started growing in and showing thru like highlights my customers started saying wow we love your lovely red highlights. At that point I realized I had something worth being proud of and that I didn't need to blend in and cover myself up. Do you practice yoga as well?

yoga4joy @au334427 My sister whose completely bed ridden now Michelle has RA and psoriatic arthritis. She's got such bad joint deformities now. But I'm believing God is going to heal her. I know that sounds insasne but she is meant to walk again. Shea been on life support 5 times and been pronounced dead in my families driveway 4 years ago but she's still here and she's going to bear this too. We all are we just have to listen to our bodies and face everything that we are holding onto.

yoga4joy @au334427 Sorry I had to break that up into so many messages. If you want you can email me but don't feel like you have to! I'm a woman of many words and it's hard to express myself in just 500. Lol. Back in school I often had to take parts out of my papers so they'd fit the desired mold. I don't fit well into a mold. I'm surprised I love yoga so much because I never thought that takimg instruction was my strong suit. I want to teach yoga soon. Anyway, if you like, joy_karhu at yahoo

au334427 @sugurplum24 OMG you are just like me- trauma repressed, caregiver to a fault (my job is nursing, shocker!) Ughhhh. So much easier to love and care for others than to be confident and put myself....first? I can't even SAY that!

yoga4joy @au334427 Wow so we are kindred spirits!! 💕 It's tough putting ourselves first but it seems to come so natural for most people lol. My best friend Jessica is a nurse. I went to school for interior architecture and am now floundering bc of my health but have a small house cleaning business but want to have a natural healing center with yoga and maybe do it thru retreats not just a local destination.

au334427 @sugurplum24 nice! I'd go. You CAN do what you put your mind to...all negative thoughts can be changed (which leads to less negative feelings) and ultimately new ways of behaving and creating the reality you want to live in. I wish u the best sister!!!
