@katiedidit ๐been helping mom today on her landscaping project... They called her back for another project.... Been thinking about you it's a huge waterfall:) on a Indian mound!!!...next To a state park "Indian springs" ...doing huge rock walls on the sides building up and planting native grasses...the creeks lived here... Nice to see you on here Katie๐..missed you so much.... Your such a amazing light in all our lives:)... Love you...I know you know that but I like telling you:)... We all
Do:)....
katiedidit
@myboynamemerit I know where that is. I went to Emory for my masters & work on my doc so was in Atlanta for years. It is one of my favorite places. Also one we were thinking of moving to...........I love Stone Mountain too. Great area......I may think about moving again, I can not stay here. I think my only salvation is to get out of here and start over somewhere where the memories are not so potent. If I don't I will be crying for the rest of my life & my heart will not be able to stand that....

@katiedidit awe...I'd love you in Georgia.๐my family has a huge farm south of Atlanta In Jackson Georgia... There's a little area below here called Indian springs so pretty and calming.. That's where the landscaping project/ Farm is.... They have so many animals so always reminds me of you.. South Atlanta (below) is awesome cause it's rural still and very accessible to Atlanta. Our farm is about 3o minutes from the airport and very rural with no traffic.. North atl has lots of traffic and is more expensive...(im on the "rural" side of the tracks:).)Our fireplace is old school stone mountain rock and we go there a lot with my niece (love that area) my sister and friends love it up by Elijay in the mountains too.. Georgia is really pretty and still quite rural for family farms... They had a farm house recently for sale by gdads.... old and beautiful with a barn and a pond:) (which is amazing its hard to get approval nowadays to build)..really nice with over a hundred acres:) which is a doable and good amount of land:) surrounded by other farms.... Really nice area.(that i hope u keep in mind) . If you decide to head this way.(great weather:) small loving community, what's not to love:)... But no beach:(...:) my great great grandad founded Emory and his wife:)(my great great grandmother) a school called Lovett in Atlanta it's a private high school... So this land basically built Emory..my grandad built the schools in Atlanta and was on the board of education and my grandmother was in charge of schools nutrition later( after teaching science for years). I come from a long line of engineers, builders, founders pioneers and farmers... Which I love.(good people)... I know your family was from the area there were you are.. Would they move with you? Or would they stay... It's so nice to have family around and being close to family. I'd love mica to move with you wherever you go.. Georgia has great hospitals and stuff Emory has an amazing research hospital and mom was going to charleston to see a immune specialist and now goes to one in Augusta...after he retired(supposively one of the best). it's really good weather too... Not to hot like Texas but you still get the four seasons:) and not lots and lots of snow like the mountains.think about it:)... Everything happend so quickly and suddenly so I know you'll need a lot of time to digest and transition.. I'm still in shock for you... I can't even begin to fathom losing my best friend and partner and what it must be like.. I lost my best friend 16 years ago and I'm still not over it and cry all the time over my grandparents in memories.... It's hard to miss your heart when it's still connected to someone you can't share with in the present on a daily level.. I talk with them a lot on the farm which I find helps... The wind talks back which I feel is them in little things which I love:)....love you sweet Katie so much!

@myboynamemerit EMORY??? Haha-I got my masters from Emory & did my doc work there too. Worked in the hospital & lived in Atlanta for 3 years, yes, I know the place!! It was 1 if the top 4 areas we were looking at to move to when a few of the asbestos claims settled. How ironic. My adopted family had an original land grant in 1670 for almost all of the land outside of Charleston. Have you heard of Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, James, Johns, Edisto & wademalaw Islands? These were family land. My children would not move with me, their lives are here. I will not stay here the prices of property are exorbitant & I don't like the summer heat & humidity. I want to be where there are SEASONS not just slight temp fluctuations!!! 85 degrees on Christmas Day is not Christmas to me!!! How much was the 100 acres? I just have to get away from here! SOON. @mica_craft right honey?

@katiedidit @myboynamemerit that's what I am thinking. It sounds beautiful. Reminds me of my grandparents place. They were farmers. All meat milk butter fruit vegetables jelly. You name it. I have two churns they used for butter and misc stuff. Quilts handmade. So many wonderful memories. I would be happy with a nice pond. I for sure like rural just need to be able to get to a doctor and I hope someday not have to worry about that anymore. Love you'll ๐๐๐๐๐ฏ๐๐๐ ๐ป๐ธ

@katiedidit @mica_craft ๐it was an auction for an old farm...so pretty. This area is THE ONLY rural area left south of Atlanta..it's very small town but very close to Atlanta and amazing medical care within 20-30 minutes... Emory and tech are 45 minutes away as well as downtown atl and the airport. Mom loves charleston(she just said why would anyone want to leave there?:) it's so beautiful. ๐๐the auction had a pond a barn and a beautiful large white house with a wrap around porch...( so pretty
For around 60,000-70,000 ). The best deals are auctions that are in the papers...:)... It's nice living off the grid:) but can be isolating at times too and a lot of
Work farming..definitely a labor of
Love:)... Hope
You guys are having an amazing an wonderful day full of love and sunshine... My sister is here so we are out on the atvs having some fun;) with my neice... Katie I feel your frustration with the courts I have been in a case that should have taken a year or two years according to the lawyers initially now for over 10 years and STILL going... There have been so many settlement talks and moments of
It's almost over but it's still on... So that waiting game will get you if you wait.. I've learned to enjoy the wait.l
Just not think about it) You have to or you'll go crazy:)๐๐๐...love you guys:)๐๐๐
myboynamemerit
@katiedidit my mom loves that area...I've heard it's one of the prettier regions in the south around charleston... Do you guys still have a lot of the land there? Sounds amazing๐๐
katiedidit
@myboynamemerit no my great grandmother sold a bunch of it and gave even MORE to the episcopal church!!! All with provisions it could NEVER be sold..... they went ahead and sold it anyway-another wrong I will right when I am financially able to fight them. The family still has a large tract on Edisto Island called "Brick House" where a prominent ghost story is set called the 13th step. The plantation house burned down but the stair case is still intact with the blood stain on the 13th step. Her ghost is seen occasionally on spring evenings and the piercing whistle that precedes her being shot is also heard. I heard it & saw her when I was 9 then got bitten by a cotton mouth the very next day at the same place while picking blackberries-I never went back! We also have about 100 acres on River Road about 2 miles from Kiawah & Sesbrook beaches on the Stono River but it is planted in crops except for 3-4 summer houses. Other than parcels around the area of 10-20 acres it is all gone. It is pretty but it is HOT come July. & August which is why the beach was where everyone went or the mountains of NC. I HATE HOT & HUMID!
katiedidit
@myboynamemerit once you have lived through such HOT HUMID weather the AC does NOT WORK & you end up in the kiddie pool at 2 am in the backyard you can wonder WHY anyone stays!! Been there done that. & it was too damn HOT to WEAR a t shirt!!!! 90 degrees at 90% humidity equals 110 degrees at 2 am. You can 't even BREATH!! The water from the hose was above 85 degrees......
myboynamemerit
@katiedidit ๐๐๐๐amazing..my mom talks about the coastline
Of charleston..we went rving at hunting Island that was amazing.. Id go biking into the inland to get fresh fish and it'd get hot.:)... My mom wants to travel America in the rv, they sold
One and I'd like to get them another at some point.... And alaska.. I've sent them up the east coast now I've got to get them out west:) beautiful.. I drove out west and in Texas and Arizona it got hot hot! I like
The seasons my self:) Georgia has great weather.. But all the weathers changing unless we start planting trees with this
Global warming stuff!!!:) la and San Fran has great weather too cause no humidity and great breezes but With the radiation arriving and still
Coming its gonna probably be dangerous for radiation for a while:( it sucks they can't fix that nuclear plant. The news and America should really be watching it:)... I'll send
You
Some
More pics when I can it's really pretty here.... You'd probably like
Kentucky too:) I hear it's amaze
As well
And
Priced reasonably...horse country๐๐๐๐
katiedidit
@myboynamemerit I am scared to death of California between that plant and the earth quakes, mud slides, forest fires & crime I will stay FAR FAR AWAY! Kentucky. & Virginia & W Va are places I am looking after Georgia & Missouri. With the health care problem I may end up in Europe where you just purchase what you need-forget the doctor!
I was retreading your notes & just saw where you said " the elephants I put in the box with the froggy'. The big amber frog was alone in his box. What elephants am I looking for? I still have the mailing box & all the tissue paper I am headed to get it & go through it again right now. Oh fun a treasure hunt!!

Let me know if she cancels the order๐
mica_craft
Did she cancel the order๐ณ
myboynamemerit
@mica_craft oh my:) ๐๐what is wrong with folks.. She made a sell!!!who cares if people show things to Friends... Goodness princess if she cancels the order we WIlL find another:)!!! I promise... On a brighter note here's the info to get out yellow๐๐๐๐๐
Removing yellow from white
Letting the garment made of natural fiber to dry in sunlight may also help remove yellow stains on light-colored fabrics.
Remember that many polyesters will be damaged by sunlight, and that the effect of sun will only bleach natural fibers like cotton and linen. Sunlight may cause certain polyesters to disintegrate.
2
Avoid chlorine bleach. If the shirt is white, you might be tempted to bleach the stain. Don't do it! Bleach will actually darken the stains because it reacts with the proteins in sweat.
3
Use one or more of the methods below. For shirts that aren't white, you may want to test the method on an unseen area first for color fastness of dyes.
**Now to remove there are four options
1. Add 4 tablespoons of baking soda Witt one quarter cup of water
2. Scrub the paste into the yellow stain with a toothbrush or
Fingernail
Brush
3. Let sit for atleast an hour
4. Wash and dry (never high heat)
5. Repeat if necessary over until stain is lifted
You can also use oxiclean
Mix a cup of warm water with a scoop of oxiclean and follow
The above steps ( preferably soaking and letting set the oxipaste on the stain overnight)
You can also make a solution of vinegar and water or vodka and water
Then spray on yellow stains and let soak prior to washing
You can also soak the yellow stain in hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes only and wash (although you may want to spot test the fabric prior:)
Wash and dry and repeat as needed
You can also follow the hydrogen peroxide step with pure white vinegar instead... Just pour pure white vinegar on stain and let set for 30 minutes only then wash and dry and repeat if necessary :)
You can also substitute cascade detergent for oxiclean
***you can also crush some aspirin into water and let dissolve then put on the yellow stain for a few hours until stain is removed then just wash and dry:)!!!
These all came from the wikihow website for removing yellow from white:)

Thank you. I might try them all lol๐โค๐๐

@mica_craft the coat one I think is
More versatile and great ontop of the dress like a little cardigan.. The long sleeve is great under dresses ect as a lace undershirt... For the style dress you got.. I'd get the coat one:) its more versatile and can
Be worn on top of the dress for the cut on the cups I'm
Not sure because of that... But both are great for dresses:)
mica_craft
Great. I like the jacket one tooโคthank you๐

@myboynamemerit THANKS! I found some parcels in the Virginia area that run $95,000 to 150,000. for 100 + acres. They have the most amazing creeks with small waterfalls. I am going to move October 25 & I am trying to make myself pack. Every day is just as bad or worse as the day before & I just can't imagine living without him & just typing that sentence has me weeping.
