Cottage Teapot Occupied Japan - Cottage Ware English Country

This is a beautiful ceramic teapot in the shape of an English thatched cottage. Handpainted in brown, green and cream with detail to the windows, door and Ivy vining around the cottage. Bottom is stamped "Occupied Japan." Teapot was made between 1945 and 1952. Approximate measurements: 9" from handle to tip of spout; 5" in width: 6" in height. The top of the teapot looks like it has a small crack in it but it is not broken. Also, under the top looks like another tiny crack, but again, this is not broken, nor is it chipped. It's in very good mid century condition!
