majoram Sorry! I corrected my listing to be more explanatory. 44 is a European sizing equivalent to a Large in the USA or a SZ 12. I use this conversion chart. https://www.laughinghens.us/clothing-size-conversion-chart It's a knit. Kind of goes over your head and then wraps around and tucks in or ties.
