Vail is about waist high. and has two layers of netting. one that goes over your head that's a little shorter and then one for the back. the back one measures approximately 32 inches from the roses in the front one measures about 24 in. has a hair clip to attach on top of your head. I also secured it with bobby pins when I wore it. the black straps are just connecting it to the hanger to keep it and it's same form. my dress was an ivory slash off-white color so this veil is the same color. it is not white. it is definitely a cream color. the roses look a little dirty, but they are not. it's just to give definition to the shape of the Roses.
