There is a slit on the lace in the back and the under layer is sheer so it can't be a dress lol BUT, this is really romantic, feminine, sweet and majorly on trend with the lace, crochet and sheer details. I personally like it over leggings and over the knee boots or over a swimsuit. I put it on over a tee to give a fit / length reference. I'm 5'3" 135 lbs 34DD
