kimberly3400 Thanks! I'm a one stitch pony, but I'm learning more. I started at the age of 12 and never really did more than a blanket or scarf. my biggest challenge is learning to follow patterns. Do you read patterns well? I need a coach! LOL!

alove80 @kimberly3400 , I actually started a year and a half ago, when my daughter wanted to learn.. She ended up not wanting to stick to it and I realized that I really liked it... Lol. I do know how to read patterns as far as when it is written out in words, but the symbol patterns I always have to end up referencing back to see what the symbol means..

kimberly3400 Such a great hand for starting a year ago! I'm more of a visual learner. I've made some really unbelievable things just by seeing someone else make it. I bought quite a few patterns, but I've yet to use them because I need to actually 'see' what's happening and patterns don't do that for me. It's too much like learning another language, lol. I think your daughter may come around when she gets older; crocheting is one of those things that you'll eventually pick back up if you've ever put it down.

alove80 @kimberly3400 , I like to look at YouTube videos as far as learning how to do a stitch, I like videos to .. I just don't like to pause and going back and fourth so I guess I like going off of a pattern better. I made these hats from a pattern I got off of Etsy, flowers I did from patterns that I just googled
