stamene @dianawt yes.. I am. I measured them with a measuring tape. However... Now you have me second guessing myself :-) If they are they are no bigger than 2 3/4 cause they are platforms shoes. More importantly.., if they are bigger than 2 3/4 no wonder I never wore them :-)

dianawt @stamene the measurement should start from where the heel meets the sole. Even with the platform. But, I understand. I can't do more than 2 1/2".

3kgt93 Yes, the measurement starts from where the highest arch of the back of the heel starts meeting the sole. That should put these a good 4, if not close to 4.5 inches high. @violeta2401..$10, what a cheecky mare!

stamene @3kgt93 hello... I'm not sure what is happening. It was not my intention to mislead. As the pic shows, it was measured where the heel meets sole which is @ 3 1/2 maybe 3 3/4. If I measure from total heel it is definitely more than 4. These are platform shoes :-) again... There was no intent on misleading thus pic :-) lastly... What does cheeky mare mean? More importantly... Are u interested in these lovely shoes?

3kgt93 No, honey.. I wasn't accusing you of misleading anyone...LOL!! I was reaffirming what dianawt said about how it should have been measured.. all good... lol As for the cheecky mare bit, it is a british expression (as my hubby is british) is it used in 2 ways, in play (jokingly as in teasing) and in the case of violeta2401 she was just showing her a%%. For her to offer $10 on a asking price of $50 is just RUDE, full stop. Hense why cheeky meant "rude". The shoes are very nice, just a bit steep in $ right now. I will keep them in my likes and see what happens and have a think. BTW, I should have called her a "cow" which means the B word in England...ha!

I kinda that that's what meant :-) my husband is not from the US as well :-) he uses similar language which still confuses me after all these years, but i wouldn't have it any other way!! As for low balling price... Yeah that was not cool. I understand asking for a price adjustment! I totally get it! Been there done that, but there is a line between what's reasonable and well not so :-) well I'm totally glad everything is all good! If you are really interested I would go down a bit lower in price just because u were so nice! I really appreciate that! It's refreshing & appreciated :-)
