Crystal Embellished Handheld Mirror

I’ve had this handheld mirror for years! It’s such a beautiful piece to have and very unique. I’m not sure what the material is, however, it looks like a seashell- possibly an abalone or it might be plastic! There is a small chip/crack towards the top left of the mirror and a yellowish tint on the back, visible under light, I think it’s just the glue from the mirror showing through the shell-like material and not a stain! The case is included, and has some visible wear as shown in the photos.
