Crystal necklace - watermelon tourmaline, purple labradorite & rose quartz

Description: Pink moon - watermelon tourmaline, purple labradorite & rose quartz crystal pendant. This is a beautiful crystal of rose quartz ~ a true stone of the heart! I've always loved this stone, with its succulent petal pink color ~ there's something so nurturing and feminine about it! It's like it gives you a big hug every time you put it on. She's set with a lustrous labradorite full of pink and purple fire, and on her crown is a raw crystal of juicy watermelon tourmaline. It's sheathed in a dark oxidized metal using a stained glass method called tiffany technique. The metalwork is done directly onto each crystal, using layers of silver, lead-free solder over copper. I finish my pieces with a dark oxidizing patina and polish them to create a really ancient look ~ like unearthed treasure. I try to create a mythological feeling pieces that celebrate natural beauty. The result is that each piece has a second skin of textured metalwork, formed to each unique crystal. Each piece is one of a kind and handmade with love in my little studio. Every stone is picked with loving care for its beauty and the story it tells.
