Vintage Red Peacock Cuff Bracelet 1" Wide Friendship & Renewal. The bracelet means friendship, and the red peacock means a re-birth, renewal in life, as well as it has protective properties. This bracelet opens and closes loosely together so you can stretch it out on and off. Diameter closed is 2 1/4" and open is 3". I am a size 7 bracelet and I opened and closed it on, with it fully closed still giving me room. It does not click together so it is safer to wear. Beautiful detail here. The metal parts clearly factory made - brass. The non-metal details like the painting and addition of crystals clearly hand done - they are imperfect, which I personally love - see all photos for these details! I do not know the age of the piece, however it is made in sections so that may be a clue.
