A vintage Culver Valencia old fashioned glass sometimes referred to as rocks tumblers. Glass is approximately 4" tall and 3 1/8" wide at the mouth. The glasses hold 10 oz straight. The glasses are decorated with 22K gold Moroccan style 3d trellis filigree with green diamonds. This pattern was discontinued circa 1962. Founded in Brooklyn NY in 1939 by Irving Rothenberg, Culver Ltd., commonly known as Culver Glass, was an American glass manufacturer. The company is best known for its mid-century designs. Most of its glass patterns featured 22K gold gild. The company stopped producing its gold overlay pieces by the 1980's and was sold to the Moderne Glass Co. in the mid 1990's. No chips, cracks or repairs. This is the last one. Always handwashed ,one owner was kept in cabinet except for the occasional holidays .These were treasured by parents, who had very little now releasing to you to treasure as they did .please never put in a dishwasher. feels a bit decadent when in use.
