Beautiful 100% wool black women’s hat made in Italy. Currency by Helen Welsh. Wool band and bow on side. Black grosgrain ribbon around interior circumference. The interior bucket of hat is approximately 21 3/4” around and approximately 5” deep. Excellent used condition.

midday @anntrinh6 Hi there! So I’m assuming you mean the outside ribbon/band with bow? From what I can tell, the band is secured in three places with a stitch and the bow is secured with a number of stitches. I think it would be easy to remove by carefully snipping the stitches (there does not appear to be any glue, from what I can tell).

midday Please note however, the band is hiding a line of stitching the entire circumference of the hat - either stitching the brim to the hat or attaching the inside ribbon to the hat - not sure which. It’s not super noticeable because the stitches are black, but it is evident.
