mrssweetnsassy @angela_malone hey! moissanite is measured in mm. many people are more familiar with diamond weights, carats. so, it's easy to give both measurements so people know what you're talking about. the stone is the size of a 2.5 carat diamond, or 8 x 8 mm moissanite. "DEW" = diamond equivalent weight. it's a jeweler term!

mrssweetnsassy @angela_malone gemstones are also measured in mm. for example, my engagement ring is a sapphire. it's 9 x 9 mm, which is equivalent to about 2 carats diamond equivalent :)
