How r these authentic if the color is custom
teresaraerae
@miissnicolette The tags themselves are authentic, they are just modified or customized post purchase.

@teresaraerae how are they done by dye ?
teresaraerae
@miissnicolette Generally the process starts w the tag being sanded, then a deglazer is applied, then the leather is lightly sprayed w water, then a leather dye rather than paint is applied using a sponge, brush or airbrush depending on the color and/or design, then a top coat, and finally a leather protectant.

@miissnicolette That’s the process I was taught when I went thru my luxury handbag restoration certification program. All the products I use are from there, so they’re specifically meant for handbags or small leather goods.
