I have separated the essential oils into three categories Top, middle, and base. The best blends consist of all three.
All scent blends carry three distinct notes. They are categorized into the top, middle (sometimes called “the heart”), and base notes which is also known as the “olfactory trifecta”. They all have distinct jobs and work together to create a complete fragrance or perfume. The top notes are the most fleeting in a scent and disappear quickly, it always makes the first impression. The middle and the base notes then work together to deepen the top note, creating a multidimensional of aroma before leaving a lasting impression.

hello again! I love that you offer this! I used to go to a place in Berkeley, Lhasa Karnak & have them do something similar but it's been a while! do you give price breaks for more than one? thanks 💚
also, I usually use a roller ball with real chunks of amber resin in jojoba, do you happen to have that kind of amber?

@kzapdizal thank you! I thought it would be fun to try out. I love Berkeley I haven’t been in so long! I do have jojoba but I don’t have any amber pieces but I could order some, that actually sounds really cool! And yes I can give a price break if you order multiple.

@erikalastra91 I always thought amber with a dash of rose would be lovely or even a amber rose vanilla.. my friend used to work at body time years ago and to this day she still wears a orange vanilla cream scent she concocted, it smelled super yummy 💓

I've been searching for a non offensive "non perfumy" scent to wear just to try something new besides my faithful amber roller to no avail. I really liked this roller my friend gave me, philosophy amazing grace, but since that ran out, I've been searching for the same one to no avail.. so it looks like amber it is! I'm excited about what you concoct! 💓🖤

@kzapdizal hey I did! I just got it a few days ago. It smells sooo good! I’ve been experimenting with the ratio so it’s just right. I put some on earlier to test it and it’s lasted through the whole day. I’ll be bottling it up and posting it in a few days I’m really excited 😋

@kzapdizal that sounds like it’s going to smell amazing. I’m thinking if I should just infuse the amber in a small amount of jojoba to make it concentrated and just use it like an essential oil.

@erikalastra91 The place I used to buy mine from was a little herb shop in Berkeley and they would sell the regular standard size rollers with Jehovah and maybe half a gram or so of the amber in it (that is just a guesstimate though) And then they would let you ride refills of the Amber by itself I believe by the gram chunks that you would be able to refill yourself at a cheaper cost... it was a pretty cost-effective system that seemed to work well for a number of years!

@kzapdizal At first I tried adding a little bit of amber to a roller bottle and let it infuse then I added rose Otto and sandalwood essential oil but you couldn’t tell because the amber took over. It is very overpowering.

@kzapdizal So I ended up infusing the whole gram into 2 oz of jojoba oil and it is still very strong. I do have genuine rose otto essential oil along with genuine sandalwood essential oil. I bought Baltic amber chips to add to a clear roller bottle to make it look pretty and for its healing properties.
