But if you'd like to order a mystery box and tell me the specific types of items you want, for example you can tell me you'd like a sweater a skirt and some kind of jewelry, and then tell me your favorite colors or the normal color palette you wear, then I can customize your box exactly to those items, you just won't see photos of the exact items before they are sent.

I can't guarantee specific items because that would ruin the "mystery" haha, but if you'd like to list a few of the exact colors of sweaters you're interested in, and the types of other items/accessories you want, I can guarantee you'll receive items from that list in your box, as long as you list multiples to give lots of options😊

cadystringer @amvedula generally boxes priced at $50 will come with 4-6 items, but a box of all sweaters would only come with 3 because sweaters are a higher value item. We could also do a box of 2 sweaters for $35. I can do 2 sweaters plus 2 other items/accessories in a $50 box. Let me know if any of these options work for you!

cadystringer @amvedula to be completely honest, I'm just really busy. I work two other jobs and I'm a student, and I have pretty bad shopping habits and spend way too much on clothes😬 haha. I have a ton of fall clothing and since I live in southern California, it barely gets any use! Mystery boxes are fun because I get to style my customers, and it saves me a lot of time instead of listing each item individually, which is why I can offer boxes with a higher value, like a bundle discount.

cadystringer @xkarenxdd $30 boxes will come with 2-4 items, depending on the value. I generally always do 3 or more, the only case where the box would come with only 2 items is if it came with more valuable items, like for example a sweater and a jean jacket. And when you're customizing your box, you can let me know the general types of items you'd like to see in your box, i.e. scarves, earrings, cardigans, skirts, etc, and the items I select will come from that list. cadystringer @alexxandriang I create these mystery boxes from my own closet, and I didn't have the exact items you requesting in those sizes and colors. I do my absolute best with what I have, and I tried to stick to the cooler fall color palette that you described. I ask for color and item preferences to try and make my customers as happy as possible, but I can't guarantee I'll have all those exact items in the correct sizes.

I hope you'll also keep in mind that poshmark charges a seller fee and that the value of your items added up to greater than fifty dollars, even though I made much less than fifty dollars from that sale after fees. But again, I am sorry that you didn't have a good experience.

cadystringer @blcarlis primarily my own closet (including my sisters closet as well haha) and I fill in the gaps with items from a local vintage store. My standards are really high for purchasing second hand- no holes, stains, tears, pulls (specifically with sweaters), and nothing I wouldn't buy/wear myself. I also wash and hang dry every item I buy😊

Preference of Colors: Mustard Yellow, Burnt Orange, Beige, Light Brown, Black, Light Grey, Maroon, Tan, Ivory. I don’t want anything hot pink, purple, light blue, light green, anything neon. I like subtle colors, ones where you can match with a lot of things.

mozella96 Tops/ sweaters I am a small, pants and bottoms size 4 or small, I prefer neutral colors (gray/black/tan/white/navy blue/hunter green/maroon). I prefer tops and bottoms and sweaters no cardigans. For tops besides sweaters and tops I like bodysuits and regular t-shirts or crop tops.

I ran into the problem of running out of clothes over a year ago, so I started purchasing new mystery stock to keep up with the demand for boxes. My boxes come with a combination of brand new and gently used items, all in great condition without any damage, so you don’t have to worry about that!

cadystringer @n_amador I don’t guarantee an exact combination of items because for example if I think you’d love these two skirts and hate the sweater option I have for you, but you asked for a skirt and a sweater, I’d rather double up and send two skirts and send you something that fits your style instead of sending something that doesn’t fit your style just to fulfill your request for each item type.
