@annak17 (sorry for the random tag lol) anyways, I noticed you seem to be collecting Bella Swan items and I actually just kind of started collecting her items but it seems impossible to find anything, literally.
Have you by chance seen any Curious Gypsy Thermals for sale? (Besides the ones that are $80+ on e b a y.. lol.

@hannahrosem I only started on her collection recently too! That's so funny. I'm only collecting from the first movie though (at least right now haha), and things are super htf from from the first. 😭 But I actually have a Curious Gypsy Thermal I've been considering selling because it's just too short on my torso and I want to buy a bigger size. -

@hannahrosem - It's a medium, brand new, tried on for literally one minute by me lol. I paid $50 for it so I'd just try to get that back. If you're interested, let me know and I'll tag you when I list it (I have a bunch of TVD stuff to list too, I'm just procrastinating doing it haha). @hannahrosem The Bella collecting is absurdly hard omg! I think every item that was ever produced was already bought by a collector years ago lol. As for the TVD stuff, yeah, of course! I feel like my list is kind of underwhelming since I don't have multiples of some of the rare items I have haha... @hannahrosem - a few of the aero ruffle tees/tanks in that I bought trying to figure out sizing, a pair of the Franco Sarto slouchy boots that people seem to forget about but Elena wore a ton in season 1 haha. I'm trying to decide if I want to sell one of my Aritzia hoodies or not because I love them dearly and it would be hard to part with one. 😭 -

@hannahrosem - But I have a white one I've never even worn since I didn't want to dirty it, so it feels a little wasteful to keep it idk haha. I also have a pair of NWT Jenni shorts but they're a different pattern (same style) so I might just keep them since I don't even know if anyone would be interested lol. -

@hannahrosem - I really have to go through my closet and storage since I have a lot of other things I'm forgetting about, but I've been so busy with school that procrastination is easier haha. @hannahrosem - The Jenni shorts I think I paid $18 for, so I'd probably just list them at that price. They're a medium, I've tried them on and they fit pretty well. I know we're pretty similar size-wise and I'd say they fit like a comfy medium! -

@hannahrosem - And I took a look at your ISOs and yeah, I don't have multiples of the super rare items unfortunately :(, but if I can help with getting some of the more like staple items, I'd be happy to help. :) I know how frustrating it can be when it's hard to find what should be the "basics" when you're getting started. Tbh I'm still working on some of that myself haha. But yeah, I'll make those listings next weekend and you can lmk if you're interested. :)

@annak17 thank you so much! And yeah, it is so frustrating. I can’t even find a purple converse tank... lol. And I had found a white one on merc and I talked the person down to $8 for it but it had sold over night, unfortunately. I just really don’t want to pay over $10 for a white unless it’s the purple, you know? Haha.

@hannahrosem No problem!! :) I'm happy to help if I can! Don't feel too bad about those converse ryder tanks lol, they're suddenly nowhere to be found, I swear haha. When I started collecting back in Jan/Feb, they seemed to be everywhere - there were so many of them! Same for the AE boyfriend lace tanks at the time. -

@hannahrosem - Now they're both selling for $60+ on eBay and I'm like uhhh ok then. Like, it's a tank top, lol, calm down resellers. 😂 Even then when they were everywhere it took me a good six months to get a purple one though. One day it'll just randomly pop up, you just have to keep looking. :) -

@hannahrosem - And I don't blame you for not wanting to spend more than $10 unless it's the purple though. I saw a white one sell on eBay for like $5 last month, so I'm sure another will come along. The tuck me in tank is def harder to find, but imo it's not super rare. I've seen a decent amount of them pop up over the past year I've been collecting. It's definitely not as rare as a Guess Lily or Nicole for example. -

@hannahrosem - I saw a tuck me in in a different color sell for like $12 not even two months ago on eBay lol. It was just listed under "free people tank" or something so the seller didn't know what they had/didn't care. I probably should have grabbed it but it's not an ISO for me so I skipped over it lol. 😩 I wasn't even intentionally looking for it, I was looking for a totally different Violet Harmon tank haha. -

@hannahrosem - But yeah, the red color is for sure hardest to find and even then I've seen a handful of them. It might take a while, but I'm sure you'll find one. I'm alwayyys in the FP top listings on here since things get posted and sell so fast and so many tops from shows/movies are FP. I'll tag you if I see one in any color! :) -

@hannahrosem - And I know it can be discouraging when you don't have the "basics", and it definitely is harder to find things from the earlier seasons bc they're older, but they're still out there! :) It just takes a lot lot lot of searching lol. I only just got the AA thermal in the SA color two months ago and you'd think that would be easier to find since it's so simple an item, but it was so hard to track one down and I've been looking since January haha. Don't give up hope yet!! Lol. ☺️

@annak17 it did seem like the converse tanks were very common but not anymore. I only own a pink one.. lol. I have been really considering the Tuck Me In tank for $125 on e b a y. I’ve been patiently waiting for one to pop up for awhile now but who knows if they will. The longer time goes, the more rare items become it seems. But I would be broke after that 😂 I just want that tank so bad. Honestly.. in your opinion, what’s the most you would pay for one?

@annak17 Also I have noticed we seem to have a lot in common! Like it’s crazy, haha. I have a few posh collector friends but you and I seem to have the most in common. I noticed we both like Elena’s style from seasons 1-4 the most, plus we both just kind of started collecting Bella items.. etc. Do you notice how Bella has a similar style to Elena in seasons 1-3? They both wore the same H&M jacket which is impossible to find, lol.

We like the same things, start collections at the same time haha, we're the same sizes, and I'm not even kidding, I've been told I look like Taissa too! That's just nuts lol. Tbh I really just have the same hair color as her and dress similar to her Zoe character from Coven lol, but I still get told that anyway aha. That's too funny!! -

@hannahrosem - But yeah, I pretty much exclusively collect s1-4 since Elena's style got so boring after that imo lol. I do like some Katherine items from later seasons, like her bebe tops, but that's like the only exception haha. And yes - Elena's early season style & Bella's style are super similar! I want that darn H&M hoodie so bad lol! Plus Bella wore thermals that were so similar to Elena's too. -

@hannahrosem - And during the S4 graduation episode, someone in the crowd wore Bella's birthday dress haha! The TVD nods to Twilight were always so funny to me. About the Violet collecting - yeah, it's really really hard. 😭 Not only is the stuff HTF, but it's insanely expensive. 😭 -

@hannahrosem - I wouldn't say it's as hard as collecting Bella stuff, but it's so much more expensive. Like, the Chloe K t-shirt she wears goes for ~$1,000. It blows my mind. As for the tuck me in tank... If it's something you really want, I'd say go for it. One might pop up six months from now, but it also might not, or if it does you might not be the person who gets it :(, and if you really want it then it's worth it to invest imo. -

@hannahrosem - That's how I always look at things when I buy higher priced items. Like, it's always going to hold its value in the collecting community, if anything its value will only increase as time goes on, so don't feel bad if you wanna splurge. I think ~$100 is reasonable for the SA tuck me in honestly. I've seen them go anywhere from $12 to $40 to $200, so it can really go any way. -

@hannahrosem - Plus I always feel like buyer's remorse isn't nearly as painful as losing out on something you want haha. I paid over $200 for a SA Guess Lily even though it really hurt my bank account haha, so I'd probably go for it if it were me. Maybe try messaging the seller though, just in case they'd be willing to come down a little. It can't hurt lol, and maybe you'll get lucky even if they don't accept offers.

Also, it is crazy how much people charge for the Violet items. I definitely can’t afford to purchase anything from those collectors. I would have to hunt down the item myself but unfortunately, her items seem rare as well.

@annak17 Elena’s style is definitely much better in the earlier seasons. I loved how “basic” it was but yet so cute! Unfortunately, a lot of the items from the earlier seasons haven’t yet been spotted yet which really stinks because a lot of it is so cute! Have you noticed the other pj shorts she wears haven’t been spotted either? (Only the Jenni ones)

@annak17 Also, someone posted Bella’s SA Free People thermal the other day (the snap button one) for under $20 and I was literally only 1 second too late on purchasing it. It sold legitimately under 60 seconds. I was so upset, lol. I would love to find her Lucky Brand striped Henley but obviously that’s impossible.. lol.

@annak17 also you should post your Gypsy Thermal on here for at least $70. There’s a few on eBay for over $80 and they have a lot of watchers. I guarantee you it would sell fairly quickly considering it’s a wanted item plus it’s that time of the year, lol. I would buy it off of you but I’m thinking I would want a large because I don’t like hoodies/jackets to be tight and I know it’s junior sizing, haha.
