His, I just went to order this red Rowley skirt and I saw an over 40 dollar "buyer protection fee." Tax is one thing - I don't know what this is and have never had to pay it before. How does it protect me, the buyer? Added up, a new one of these skirts isn't that much more money (it's $315) than the 300 dollar total.

@merleginsbergla Hello Merle, the additional fees applied by Poshmark are a deep concern by me as a long-term buyer and new seller. I attempted to find the article explaining the justification as related to a buyer without luck, the best I can do is send an offer to hopefully help. This percentage structure has changed my purchasing and I understand your feelings totally.
