-A spork is a hybrid form of cutlery taking the form of a spoon-like shallow scoop with two to four fork-like tines. The proper name for a spork is a runcible spoon (patent 1970)The first one who came up with it was Samuel W Francis. He issued US Patent 147,119 in February 1874.
-I have many more serving pieces in my closet just in time for the upcoming holidays!
-Vintage flatware will always have some wear in the form of surface scuffs, possible pitting, & possible plate loss.
-All silver plate pieces have had a cursory polish and will call for additional polish to bring them to their final luster.I can’t guarantee that all patina will come off when polished.
