It has a button up collar, buttoned pockets, two zippers to open from top or bottom, and can be cinched at the bottom to stay extra warm. The outer liner protects from wind and rain, while the padded inside is soft and cozy. Can be tightened at bottom as well for added warmth (last photo). Heavy coat, no use for a Florida girl. Full ankle length in petite. Worn by me 5’6” it’s mid-calf

lilyrosepoppy @beautifulpanda Hello! This is going to sound a little outlandish, but Donna Karan is actually my aunt (we’re not close). But her office took care of me during my time at NYU. So this was just shipped to me. The only size available on the tag is P (petite).

lilyrosepoppy @beautifulpanda I’m very him but not a petite so I’m not sure why I was sent this size. I’ll post a better photo of the tag. The coat measures 40.5” at the shoulder.

lilyrosepoppy @beautifulpanda I apologize, I know NOTHING about petite sizing (or why it wouldn’t be labeled with a size as well). I transferred from NYU to move back to Florida soon after receiving it and never had a use for it. But it’s so nice it just follows me along. 😂 Unfortunately I removed the tags but it hasn’t been worn.

lilyrosepoppy @beautifulpanda My pleasure! Can I ask you, is that length typical of a long petite coat? I believe it’s meant to be FULL length, since it cinches at the bottom to keep in heat. It would look okay on me at 5’6”, just not cinched since it doesn’t come close to ankle length.

lilyrosepoppy @emordeno Oh I’m so sorry! Poshmark’s notification system isn’t great when you work off the app and not a computer. I found your comment by luck. Unfortunately there is no belt on this coat. It’s more of a “city chic” traditional winter coat than a trench type coat. I’m sorry! The cinching for warmth is a pull cord on the the very bottom of the coat, seen in one of the photos.

lilyrosepoppy @emordeno yes definitely. The bottom can be cinched to prevent cold air from entering or you from losing warmth. Plus there are two zippers so you can access underneath the coat from either direction without removing it. The outer material also repels moisture.
