long black cotton/wool vest hem hits around mid-thigh buttons sewn facing inward so they face out when vest is open (as pictured) four intentional slits near top of vest around tag, perhaps to secure to a coat with buttons? other than the slits the vest is in good condition, no visible stains or wear
