habdul23 @shophotdotcom scamming people by contacting buyers on Poshmark that she has what they’re looking for. She tells the buyers to contact her outside of Poshmark, she sends pics of the item which aren’t even her pics, the buyer pays for the item and she never ships anything to the buyer but claims she did.

habdul23 I thought I was buying a BCBG bracelet from her (you can see the listing I have on my profile) and I paid for it. She never shipped it to me. I was really patient for the tracking number but after a week of her daily excuses, I demanded my money back because she couldn’t provide tracking. She wouldn’t even give me my money back.

habdul23 I had to go as far as doing my own investigative work, background checks using the phone number she provided, trace it back to fake accts she created using innocent peoples pics and names. Somehow I found out who she was and I called her out. I filled out an FBI online fraud form and called the San Diego police dept to let them know she was scamming people.

habdul23 I didn’t even care about the money I lost at that point. I was determined to find out who she was and put a stop to her scams so she couldn’t do it to other people. She must’ve made a ton of money off of people because her Instagram shows her holding an Hermes purse and she lives a very lavish lifestyle

habdul23 I did get my money back though. I sent her screen shots of her family members names and a pic of her house and address. I told her she messed with the wrong person and I wanted my money back. I got it back immediately after that. I used to do background checks for a living so I’m no idiot. My friend is also an FBI agent so I can always ask for advice on what to do.

shophotdotcom @habdul23 wow awesome investigative work! Hopefully she learned her lesson. Her lavish lifestyle won’t last long with that kind of money. Thank you for sharing this. We all have to be careful with these scammers on this platform and they shouldn’t ruin it for the rest of us! I’m glad we are able to contact Poshmark support too.
