kenkenz Someone tried to do this to my husband. He was being paid upfront for plumbing but his housekeeper needed money so he was sending it to a complete stranger instead of the housekeeper he already knows. We called the bank to verify the check and they had us email a snapshot of the check and they verified it was a fake check.
