karlasklassics @1steelerose Finally uploaded more pictures of the inside of the bag! The straps on each side of the bag that run from the front exterior and thread through the sides actually hold the small snap pouch in place, then come out on the back of the exterior of the bag! It looks as though it was originally one strap that has been cut! Thanks so much for your interest and hope this helps!
