D'Orlan vintage signed four strand multi-layer twisted gold tone rope necklace. D'Orlan jewelry was known for its quality and that shows on this necklace. The twisted rope design chain shows no signs of wear or discoloration. Has a decorative clasp end with fold over clasp. The shortest strand has a 10" drop and the longest a 14" drop. Pre-owned in excellent condition. D'Orlan, founded in the late 1950s, was a Canadian jewelry company based in Toronto, Ontario. Its founder trained under top jewelry designer Marcel Boucher and produced jewelry exclusively for the Boucher Company, whose vintage pieces are particularly collectable. The company ceased operation is 2006.
