essamoss @lovydovy58420 it depends.... How long do you want them to be? What color? Open ended (loose strands at ends) or closed (dreaded tightly all the way)? Thick or thin? essamoss @willieswoman7 there are multiple different ways.... It also depends of you already have dreads in your hair or you just want to add them to your regular hair so you have some dreads and some normal loose hair. What are you looking to do?

essamoss I could either put them on flat small clips that hide in your hair and will match (generally the color of your hair or on rubber bands and then you put them around a braid or a section of your hair. Clips work better if you want to wear your hair down with dreads in amongst your regular tresses!

essamoss @pas these are actually mine and are my real hair. I do make them for people and you can either clip them in, put them on a band and wear as a "fall" or you can crochet them on as extensions on existing dreads. Most people choose the clip on version.

essamoss @maeve182 well, they will be costly because you have to cover the cost of the hair which needs to be high end real human hair (runs $50-$90 per pack and you could need more than 1 pack depending on how many dreads you actually need). You also have to take into consideration the time that it takes to make them which is at least a half hour for each one so...it can add up.

skt2n I may be interested in either a full set or a dreadfall. I would need 30 double ended that are a little thinner and have some loose hairs at the bottom in a dark brown with maybe a few dark blondes scattered in about 18" or 19" for each dread so double for DE. For a fall it would be just 18" or 19" and attached to a band or something to add to a pony. How much would the set or the fall be?

essamoss @skyelyn I always recommend and use 100% human unless the customer/client acts for something different. It, obviously, feels/looks more real and also can be colored and lightened while the other cannot. The price is a little higher though. Do you pan to crochet them into your own hair? And do you know the # color that you're wanting?

essamoss @skyelyn can you tell me how long you want them in inches from beginning to end and how thick or thin (the size of a yellow #2 pencil)? It's too bad you can't crochet them in ...it works so well. I've done it for many clients who have left them in for years. There are tutorials on crocheting them in on YouTube....just an idea for you.

essamoss @steffie326 it does make sense and happens a lot but you have to be careful to make sure that because of the "shrinkage" the dreads aren't way thinner at the roots that everywhere else. the weight of the locs could be too much for the roots, although there are ways to remedy that if it is the case. beccastarship Hi there I’m super wanting to get you to make me some clip in locks. I love the ones in the second and third pic. I’d like them to be a mix of mostly auburn light and dark with blonde dreads mixed in here and there.
