My closet was long over due for a question box, so here it is! 😉I'm always happy to help, so do not worry about asking too many questions, as I was once brand new to Poshmark too. In regards to exchanges, every closet has a different policy, and Poshmark does not require (or even encourage exchanges). With that said, I do offer exchanges for sizing issues in my closet, but most closets do not, so it's completely up to you dear. If a buyer makes a purchase from your closet, that she is not 100% happy with (e.g., the fit) she may decide to "re-posh" the item in her own closet, and that is one alternative to exchanges. Bottom line, it's completely up to you, as to whether or not you accept exchanges in your closet. I hope that this information helps. 😊💖

@hthr1234 Hi Heather! If a buyer doesn't accept a purchase within 3-days of delivery, you are automatically credited your earnings. It probably wouldn't hurt to inquire one more time with your buyer about accepting her purchase, and she will also be getting a reminder email from Poshmark as well. However, if she still doesn't click on the accept button, you'll have to wait the 3-days before your earnings are credited. I hope that you're having a wonderful Thursday, Heather! 😊💖

@joans5 Hi Janie! Sometimes your listings are actually on your closet page, but you won't see them (and therefore won't be able to share them) until you update or "refresh"your closet's page. The quickest way to do that is to simply click out of your closet screen (e.g., go to another Poshmark screen, such as the party page) and then click back into your closet's page. If that doesn't work, log off of your Poshmark account and then log back in, and all of your updates should then show up. I'm sorry to hear that you had problems listing your items to the party last night, so I hope this helps. 😊💖

One of the best ways to increase your sales is by having your items selected as Host Picks, as your closet will gain a lot more exposure on Poshmark. @mr104695 Hi Macee! Sellers have up to a week to ship your order, and if a seller fails to do so you have the right to ask for a refund. Just click on the "problem with order button" under the item that you purchased (it will be listed under your purchases) to send Poshmark support a request for a refund. I hope that thus helps. 😊💖

Just click on your closet user name icon, it'll say "dierks24" at the bottom of the page that you are currently viewing, and it will take you to the page that you'll need to be on. @ssadler06 Hi Sarah! There's no need to thank someone for sharing your closet, because the best way to acknowledge shares is by reciprocating. In fact, the more you share for the same person the more likely they will be to return the favor, and shares from others are by far the best way to increase your closet's exposure to thousands of potential buyers and ultimately increase your sales. With that said, it's perfectly fine to thank someone on occasion if they have been sharing regularly for you, it's just not necessary (or expected) to do it each & every time. I do sell on a competing site ( TF ) and maybe it's plain luck but have had more success there in a shorter time span selling some things... @lndfmrls Hi Linda! Poshmark doesn't encourage trades, and you have to be careful, because not everyone is honest with what they trade. With that said, if you do decide to trade make sure to do it through Poshmark & not on PayPal; that way if anything goes wrong Poshmark can help you get your item/money returned/refunded. To do a trade on Poshmark, both individuals mark/sell their items for $3 (as that is the lowest price you can mark an item down to on Poshmark), so you both just pay $3 plus shipping to trade. Your closet looks like it is off to a fabulous start!💕Now that buyers can search you closet using the category, brand, & size tabs (they're at the top of every closet) there's no need to group similar items together anymore. Instead, I would suggest mixing it up a bit to make your closet interesting for your buyers. For example you can try putting items next to each other that are color coordinated, similar fashion types (e.g., career dresses), or simply items that just look visually pleasing side by side. Also, I sometimes place a necklace next to a dress that it would look amazing with. Additionally, I tend to put my most recently listed items towards the top of my closet, so my regular buyers can see what's new. With all of that said, you should organize your closet in the way that works best for you. I hope that this helps. It's nice to meet you! 😊💖

@daliasg So, unfortunately there's no filter for organizing a closet by color, so I just try my best to group items that look good together. When you update your closet, the order you click "share" in will be the order that the items appear in your closet. Thus, the first item you click on will go to the bottom of your closet & the last item that you click on will be shown at the top of your closet. 😊

I see in a lotbof closers that the sold items have been moved to the bottom and read somewhere that others have moved specific items to the top for one reason or another. @tlstevenson Hi Teresa! When you click share on a listing or update (change) the title or details of a particular listing in anyway the listing automatically goes to the top of your closet's page. There is no easy way to rearrange your closet, so you will need to click on the listings in the order that you need them to appear (e.g., the first listing you click share on will be the last one on your page and last listing you click share on will be at the very top of your page, so plan accordingly). By the way, I'm certain that you already know this, but now there is a new tab (under the edit tab) to officially mark listings as "not for sale", so instead of changing the price of an item to a ridiculously high number, that tab can now be used to notify others that an item is on hold or not available. @mrs_jack_vue Hi Lisa! The best way to find out if a seller is active (or not) is to send them a message on one of their listings. Unfortunately, each listing only shows the date when it was last updated, and there's no other good way to find out if a "Posher" is active without asking. 😊💖

@aprils2ndcloset Hi April, I believe I had sent you a note a few wks ago.. Have a question- how does one get a 'host pick'? Who picks out the items to be in the parties? This part is confusing to me because I've seen where Poshers newer than me are already getting a host pick item ( some with only 1200-2000 followers) and many of us here have spent hrs a day following, sharing, etc.. Do u have to be nominated for a host pick? To be honest, as a former brick & mortar retail owner ( custom high end home furnishings & accessories ) some of these 'picks' leave much to be desired, but I also understand that liking something is in the eye of the beholder as they say, lol. I love it here but I guess Posh has grown so much now that there's so much competition for a sale. Thxs for your time 😊💕

Unfortunately, the only way you can move a listing to the top of your closet's page is by "sharing" it to your followers or a party or by updating it (e.g., making a change to the listing's title). Although I have requested a resend multiple times, I never received my ship label: not in junk mail, and I have emailed support, but have yet to hear back. Have you ever encountered this?? @tippiejax Hi Cathy! Poshmark always sends the resend labels almost immediately, so this is not typical. Double check your email address that Poshmark has in your profile to be certain it wasn't accidentally deleted or changed. Search for these free apps in the apple application store on your iPhone/iPad: FrameMagic (has nearly everything you'll need in one app), photocollage, picshoplite, piceditor, & snapseed (a fabulous app for brightening underexposed or dark photos, it's one of my favorites). There are countless others, but I use these most frequently.😊💖

@sice1980 Hi Shanna! Thank you for your sweet comment.💕 So, there are so a few ladies on Poshmark that buy items from other closets & resale them for more in their own closets. Technically, that is not breaking Posh rules, however just make sure that you do not feel pressured in to selling your items for a lot less than your listed price, as I have heard that some ladies new to Poshmark have felt incredibly pressured to sell an item for less than they wanted to, which is not fair. This practice is called "low balling" -when someone offers you far less for an item than your listed price, which is much different than fairly negotiating, and you can feel free to say no thank you to those ridiculous offers. I hope that this information helps. 😊💖

@melandt Hi Marcy! I'll tag you in a listing of mine that includes an email from Poshmark that describes how one becomes a "suggested user". Overall, it is important to follow Poshmark guidelines & policies (which you do), have excellent buyer feedback in your closet (the new star rating system is a helpful tool for monitoring your closet feedback stats), and Posh community involvement. Poshmark makes the ultimate decision but when you feel you are ready have 'Posh veterans" send in recommendations for you. Mist "suggested users"' have been in Posh fir 6+ months, but I've seen it happen a bit sooner for others. I'm so happy to hear that your closet is continuing to grow, as it's well deserved! 😊💖

This is the best place to ask questions in my closet.💕One of the best ways to get a completely white background for your items is to use the "Photoshop" application and select "inverse" for the photo, so it will highlight the primary object from it's original background, & then you can drop the item into a new color background (e.g., white). This is a bit more advanced technique, so you should ask around & find out if any of your family or friends is familiar with the Photoshop app (it is a commonly used app), so that they can show you how to do this. It takes a bit of time to learn to use Photoshop but it is well worth the effort. 😊💖

And, I'm sure my 'followers' share other Poshers with me. However I never see in my 'Notifications' any closets shared. @mjapp01 Yes, but your share notifications will not show up under your "news" notification tab the way that this message that I am sending you now will, instead they will show up when you scroll through your "feed" button. All of the items that you share along with all of the items that your followers are sharing at any given point in time can be found in your "feed". 💖

@corvus440 Hi again! So, once you get your closet stats just take a snapshot of the page with your iPhone or iPad camera. Just remove the confidential info (e.g., your total sales amount) with a photo editing app. You can then put them up in a listing in your closet. I hope that this helps. 😊💕

@eviigvii Hi Eva! You might want to consider putting up a feedback box in your closet where other ladies on Poshmark can leave you comments, feedback, & ask questions. This will help increase your sales, as potential buyers can read that other buyers have been happy with their purchases from your closet, and it will show that that you are interested in hearing from others. Take a look at my feedback box (framed in red) near the top of my closet. Your cover shots look great overall, but modeling your items will help you sell more, and if you'd rather not model your items try to find photos of models wearing them online, so potential buyers can see how an item will look "off the hager". 😊💖

The email tab is for your personal email address, the one that Poshmark will use to send you shipping labels, site updates, & other messages, but it'll remain private, so no one else will be able to view it. The website tab should be utilized if you have a blog, Facebook page for your closet or another website that you'd like to share with other ladies in the Poshmark community. If you enter a website address it will show up as a link at the top of your closet's page directly under your name & location. For example, you can click on the link at the top of my closet and it will take you directly to my closet's Facebook page. 😊💖

@corvus440 Hi Zoe! Poshmark determines when the shipping rate is discounted, so as sellers we do not have any way to do this ourselves, and as of yet there doesn't seem to be a true pattern. Also, I've noticed that buyers are not notified every time that a seller lowers the price or an item. With that said, in my experience, buyers (only those individuals who have "liked" your item previously) are notified the first time that you lower the price of an item, but it appears to be somewhat random after that. However, Poshmark likely has some type of algorithm on their application for determining this, so it's best to wait at least a week or so before lowering the price of an item a second time. Poshmark did send out an email addressing this topic a couple weeks ago, but it was general in nature rather than answering any of the above questions. I hope that this information helps. 😊💖

@lndfmrls Hi Linda! Click on "My Sales" and then click on the sale that you need to cancel. Next, click on "Problem/Order Inquiry" and then on "Cancel Sale". Once you cancel the sale the buyer will get a confirmation message from Poshmark within a few minutes. Finally, have your buyer purchase the new listing that you create & make sure that you remind her to enter her correct shipping information before she finishes the purchase transaction. 💖

I am a new posher. I am a Tom boy I grew up with all brothers and the only dresses or dress up I've done is the day my father died (I wore a dress. The day I was married I wore a wedding dress) other than that I have worn the jeans style, distressed and flare I am a grandma now but a modern day grandma I love style ( on other people) never really thought about me cause I am who I am. Last night funny thing my nephew said aunti you are 50 I said I am a grandma he said how come you don't have wrinkles and your not fat well I laughed and said all granny's are not fat and have wrinkles I thought my brother was going to die laughing his son is 12. So I have holidays coming and I really want to rethink my dress code for these occasions I don't want to change me just my appearance for a moment I love who and how I am I just want to be beautiful so at this could you show me something that is not to expensive and that don't make me trashy but does make me feel as beautiful as every other grandma. Thank you and by the way I have never purchased anything off of pm so I may need help with that as well. Just a note I can not wear heals due to a skiing accident so something that will work with flats or tennis shoes lol.

I don't even know if this is where I return your comments but waist 26-27 4-6 my chest is well ahummmmm sorry I hate this part 36DD sometimes I buy like 38DD cause I have the Tom boy issues and like more loose and I would like either short, spaghetti strap so I could maybe wear a cover up or 3/4 sleeve I am from Utah and the weather is changing to fall now and December in Utah well a lot of people come here to ski. I have time cause the holidays,thanksgiving and Christmas are the gatherings I want to make my transformation for lol all my sister in laws are do beautifully dressed I am I don't know maybe well myself I never have wanted to make an impression but it's time if not for me maybe my 5 grand babies you think. I thank you so much and I could only wish I was more lady like but coming from a home of 6 and 5 brothers and I'm child 4 didn't pave a very feminine path for me but I can fight and street race and play ball like my brothers so not all bad I wouldn't be the person that I am today without them. I just lost one brother to murder and I live my life as if this will be my last day so unexpected he was a very upstanding man of the community a father, husband and the most amazing brother that if he said something it happened very true to his word. @aprils2ndcloset I'm not a new posher, however I do need to know what it means if someone has chosen an item in my closet to bundle if that means they are looking at items in other closets to combine and eliminate having to pay shipping more than 1 time; possibly to make final sale or just looking to bundle items solely in my closet... Thanks!

@imusthave_that Hi Adale, the bundle option was created, so that potential buyers can purchase multiple items in one transaction & only pay shipping once. You can also give buyers an extra discount off of their total when they purchase a bundle in your closet. Some buyers place several items in their bundle (using it as a 'wish list') until they are ready to make a purchase. 😊
