Karen Germany is the creator of the wonderful line of Daddy’s Long Leg dolls. All the dolls have realistic faces and expressions. These dolls were created in clay, and then cast in wood resin. The dolls were then hand painted, creating a personality and expression for each doll. Appropriate clothes were designed and handmade for each doll. Ms. Germany designed and created these dolls to bring a smile to collectors (she certainly accomplished that goal). It is hard to look at these dear faces and not be reminded of someone you have known and perhaps loved.
