debbyjones717 @bisquerose1125 sweetheart do you still have ancestors in Austria.? I wish I had asked my grandmother questions when she was alive but I was a small child I didn’t care as I became a teen I thought I had time when I was 20 she died. She came to America at 16 years old with altered papers saying she was 19 (avoiding an arranged marriage)

debbyjones717 She was born in the Late 1800’s she was so afraid someone would find out about her altered age, (afraid that our country might take her citizenship away ) that she never spoke of her life before the USA. Apparently you could not come across the ocean to America without a chaperone unless you were an adult. Funny that both of us have some commonality 🧑🏻‍🦳

debbyjones717 Is this chain stamped sterling. I posted on another piece but this is the one I need. I need a piece of a very fine delicate sterling chain to put on an antique aqua necklace in 18 k which was given to me as a gift decades ago. It’s too snug and I can’t afford a gold piece to fix it I need at least 925. No from China

bisquerose1125 @debbyjones717 The clasp of the chain is stamped with 925 - I tried to get a photo but because it’s so tiny, it doesn’t show. I’m not sure what stone it is anymore. I bought it at a boutique in Asheville NC - the artist is named HUSH and she had different ones with different stones and I liked the dove and earth tones of this.
