@mhlicon92 hi, sorry for not making it clear and perhaps confusing. Judging by the characteristic I thought it was a men's cowboy boot. but I guess it's a women's boot because the size was marked 9 D and it fits nicely on 8.5M with little wiggle room. so that's being said if it's male size that will make it 10.5 or 11 in women's, and in this situation is not the case.
I would say it's size 9 (D=thick sole) for Women's NOT men's.
