I try to base my pricing off condition/original price for the most part. I also am pretty active on posh and have been a seller on other sites for years so i do not really need to research anymore. But always remember that users are coming to this site for a discount, so if you bought something for $50 it will never sell for $50 unless it is a very very popular brand/item. I would originally list it for $40 but would probably end up taking $25 depending on what it is
