I used to shoot weddings in a black suit and red shoes. I got these just before I retired so only work them a couple times. The slight lift in the heels were so much more comfy than super flat shoes. Dansko is hands down the most comfortable shoe if you’re on your feet all day. This is my 4th pair for weddings. I’m a life long customer. I’m a true 8.5 and these fit beautifully. The toes are slightly shaded darker intentionally. I think it adds interest. The stitching around the sole is also a beautiful touch. The inside of the shoes are a super soft leather and are slightly padded around the ankles. Dansko really knows how to make a comfy shoe with style. Gorgeous attention to detail.
