Dark haired beauty. Progress Novelty Casting brass vanity powder box 1930's LG.

This powder box is a mini portrait brass vanity powder box from the 1930's. Made in USA. It measures 4" 1/2" diameter x 1 5/8" deep. It weighs 1.10#. The top shows a gorgeous dark haired beauty with tight curls framing her perfectly formed face with porcelain skin. She is shown wearing a gray/lt blue off-shoulder gown and an unknown necklace. The metal shows beautiful patina but would also be beautiful if polished. I have not polished it so that the buyer can decide for themselves the look they prefer. This powder box features a glass bowl insert. It's also a perfect trinket box. The bottom is not in perfect condition-shows scratching from nearly 100 years of use.
