cookiesboy @vetmamu Massimiliano: Turquoise is a compound that includes metals such as aluminum, copper or iron. Water oil can cause some of these metals to oxidize, or in other words rust. As a result of oxidation, the stones can actually change color, this phenomenon of changing colors is often seen in all turquoise stones and darken from finger oils. vetmamu @cookiesboy I was not questioning the properties of turquoise (which I’m very familiar with by the way) I was asking why in the first picture the stone has brown spots that are not present on the third one?! Are you telling me there were rusting process between one picture and another? Would you please upload one more good quality picture?! Thank you
