mrsoholorogg @fondacain5 Hi, thanks for your interest! There is a small train that I had a bustle sewn in for. I can take some more pictures later if you want

jmc6052 Hi! Can you tell me what you mean by 'needs a good cleaning.' Like are there champagne stains or is there black soot on the hem? Thank you!

mrsoholorogg @jmc6052 Hi, thanks for your interest. The dress is older. It was purchased second hand in 2010. It was worn outdoors for the ceremony so the train got dirty. No other dirt/stains. If it were cleaned and pressed at a dry cleaners, I have no doubt it would clean up great! It’s a beautiful dress and good quality. I think the price reflects the age and condition of the dress. I would love for another bride to be able to use it.

jmc6052 @mrsoholorogg Hi! So @fondacain5 and I are both working on trying to get her into this dress or one very much like it! A follow up question I have is, has the dressed yellowed with age? Also, (and this is because I am super ignorant when it comes to dresses) when you say the dress was 'let out' was that in the sides of the dress, or in the bust? Thank you and sorry for a million questions!

mrsoholorogg @jmc6052 No problem with the questions! I’d want to know too. The pictures of the dress hanging on a door are within the last year. The dress has been stored in a zip up garment bag which has actually kept it in great condition. I noticed that the embroidery was looking less bright white but I think a professional dry cleaning would work wonders! The dress is certainly not yellow though.

mrsoholorogg @jmc6052 Also, the dress had to be let out in the waist. The bust has only been altered in that bra cups were sewn in so that there’s no need for a separate bra.

jmc6052 @mrsoholorogg thank you for all your follow up! Around here, dry cleaning runs about $200 and 3 months on wedding dresses, so there’s a lot to consider. Thank you!

mrsoholorogg @jmc6052 I understand. I would love if another bride could use my dress. If it would help, I’d be open to further negotiations on price.

mrsoholorogg @luvmi4eva143 I got those measurements. It’s somewhat difficult to measure but I think I figured out the best way. I measured from the top of the underarm area on the dress to the bottom hem along the side seam. That was 48”. When you measure your body, you would probably want to come about 2 inches down from the center of your armpit.

mrsoholorogg Next I measured the bust. I pulled the fabric taught and went across the largest part of the bust, seam to seam. This was 22.75”. The dress has bra cups sewn in so no bra is necessary.

mrsoholorogg The waist measurement I took at the natural waist like belly button area just on the back of the dress because with all the ruched fabric across the front, an accurate measurement is real tricky. This was 20” from seam to seam. It does have a corset back so allowing 1 - 1.5” either way because the corset makes it somewhat adjustable. Please lmk if I can help further.

luvmi4eva143 @mrsoholoroggmy waist is 38 inches so flat if is 19 inches flat side to side it should work

mrsoholorogg @luvmi4eva143 Yay! I want to make sure you read that the dress needs dry cleaning. There is a little foundation makeup at the neck and the dress was worn outdoors for the ceremony so the bottom has some dirt. However a dry cleaning will make it all pretty and white again
