the main part of the hat is the round portion that will fit over the head. there is a ribbon band around the inside near the opening. also, there is some elastic to help you keep this hat on your head. the hat potion is solid material. that material is seen in the swirl and curl. there is sheer ribbon in the curl and swirl part also. both types of materials have gold accents. I did notice at the bottom of the extra material on the side that a section of glue has started to come undone. I have left is as I am not a professional on hats to try to fix it. also note that the curl and swirl design on the hat is on the left-hand side and comes up almost to the middle of the top of the hat. found no other issues or flaws. smoke-free home and pet friendly home. measurements in pictures. measurements laying flat with no stretch.
