Such an amazing find! Deitsch handbags were the luxury exotic skin bags of the 1940’s & 1950’s. This particular bag is boa snakeskin with a fabulous amber toned lucite mouth. Unfortunately it’s past owners have not cared for this bag properly and does need some repair work. Mint condition this bag would be worth double if not triple! * Size is approximately 9” tall x 8” long x 3.5” wide * Exterior of bag is all snakeskin, fully lined interior * GORGEOUS lucite top snap closure, such a unique feature all on it's own! * Interior pocket with small round mirror (mirror appears original, does have some discoloration) I hunt down my items at thrift shops, online auctions, estate sales, and antique malls/flea markets. Used bags are gently cleaned (leather conditioned if applicable) and checked for damages.
