Italian made but from one of the oldest American shoe companies. Leather lined with padded insole, 0.25 inch heel, similar to Madewell's Frances loafer but in a dressed up style. In EUC - minor creasing at heel. Note: Delman is known to run a bit small and narrow. lavoison @margaret2014 They are simply labeled as "9" but I believe that a regular width for a US 9 is 3 11/16th (just a smidgen above 3.5) and the measurement should be taken at the widest part (usually the ball of the foot). Gauging by the pics with the yard stick, the soles are clearly more narrow than that where the ball of the foot would be positioned plus the toe area of this shoe is pointed. I wouldn't recommend this shoe for you unless you have a narrow foot. Thank you for this question!
