This set & your other set are amazing. I've been on the Queen Mary several times, as I live in LA & it's permanently docked in Long Beach. I even spent a New Year's Eve there. That's so cool that your grandparents traveled on it. So grand! ❤

@bethmgold ~ Wow, Back in the 90’s I too spent a new years on the Queen Mary with a Christian singles group. It was a blast, but not as fun as when I was a kid and got to freely roam, well I snooped around through back tunnels... lol I was 12. Yes, a really cool ship with tons of history! 🥰

@1centwiz That's so crazy that we both spent a New Year's Eve there! Are you originally from the LA area?
I once got a tour of the engine room. That was pretty interesting (& a little creepy).
You can also stay overnight in one of the staterooms. One day I'll do that.

@bethmgold ~ Yes. Born in Santa Monica because my Grandparents had a dance studio there. Lived all over the valley as a young adult and survived the ‘93 earthquake. Lol. And so that is how any and all damage occurred to the China Collection. I left for MT over 20 years ago now.

@1centwiz Oh! I was going to say to you, don't sell it to anyone who lives in California b/c of earthquakes! I moved to Sherman Oaks in 1996 from NY (in fact, yesterday was my 25 year anniversary of moving here!); 2 years after the earthquake. There was still tons of damage. My building was the only one open on my block! I'm amazed this China survived so well (even with damage)!
