Designer CW Cathy Waterman 22KT Gold and Diamond Gear Earrings

These fabulous earrings are from my own collection, purchased in the early 90's at Barneys New York. They are by famed jewelry designer Cathy Waterman. She is a jewelry designer based out of California who is known for making etherial gold jewelry using recycled gold and fair trade diamonds. Some of her designs have been seen on A list celebrities such as, Taylor Swift, Nicole Kidman, Viola Davis, and Jennifer Lawrence to name a few. Michelle Obama wore a Cathy Waterman necklace and earrings on January 21, 2013 to the presidential inauguration and these pieces are now on display at the Smithsonian Museum. I fell in love with them because I worked for a watch company and the gears spoke to me and also because they are modern and arsy. They have a hammered texture and feature high quality diamonds in the center and are 22KT solid gold. Truly spectacular earrings! See images for more details, measurements, and weight.
