Designer Signed PELL Silver Tone Metal Rhinestone Leaf Pin Brooch

Dating to the 1970s or so, may I offer this stunning silver tone metal costume pin brooch by PELL (hallmarked as pictured). Designed as a single leaf, the pin features very clear, very white rhinestones. Safety catch at the back to hold the pinstem in place. Size is 2-1/2" long x 1-1/2" high. Excellent condition with no repairs and no replacement stones. NOTE: my photos do not do this pin justice - the stones are absolutely eye popping when viewed in person. PELL: The history of PELL began in Long Island City, NY in 1941. Founded by 4 brothers Joseph, Anthony, Alfred and William Gaita, the company began producing a wide range of jewelry, mostly silver plated. Noteworthy, Pell Jewelry Co. designed jewelry for Disney Productions and the Miss America competition. Also, the company participated in the production of Coro jewelry. Since 1955, a copyright label has appeared on the Pell jewelry label.
