Designer Vintage Tan Wool Skirt by Ruth Matthews

1970s Ruth Matthews vintage tan wool skirt with back slit. Very classic lines. Ruth Matthews created many of the clothes Pat Nixon wore during her husband's presidential campaign. Her clothes were sold only in her own four shops called Matthews in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive, Palm Springs, New York and Chicago. Prices of skirts ranged from $169 to $5700, which was very expensive for the 70's. 27" wool skirt with two front flat pockets . Fully lined. There is a rip in the lining (see photo). There is also some lighter marks on the fabric (see last photo). There is no sizing info but I would say it's a small. These are the lay flat measurements.
