@yesilavin Hi! Sorry I accidentally switched Poshmark accounts bc of the google sign in stuff, but this is still @aardvark89 here. Thank you for the ivory over blush! 52” from the breast makes me think it’s 58” from the “hollow” which would be the standard length they sell, so that makes sense. Just to double check, I’m 5’9” and planning to wear flats so I am thinking the 58” dress will be perfect. Based on your height does it makes sense that it would be the right length for a 5’9” person?

Also, just checking — sounds like the back darts didn’t alter the dress measurements at all and are easily removable, and those are the only alterations? Thank you for answering all my questions!! It’s stressful buying a wedding dress online 😅

@alexviolet21 dry cleaned yes.
Yes to the darts being the only alteration and loosened the lace a tinnnyy bit.
No stains. I do suggest to wear it with flats. Or small heels. It may not look horrible if you can see just the tip of your feet. My heels were about 5” and i did that to avoid hemming the dress. Im 5’1
We also added the bustles for the train. It originally didn’t have that.
This dress is beautiful. Wish you were near so you can try it on.

@yesilavin I know, it’d be so nice to try it on :/ Okay, so no stains or other damage but not dry-cleaned. Do you recall if you ordered it at the standard length (58”) or 3” or 5” shorter? And/or can you verify my assumption — in the pictures online it looks like there is a few extra inches of fabric in the hem that could be let out? I just want to be extra sure!

@alexviolet21 no stains, no damaged. Use that 1 day only. I don’t drink so my wedding wasn’t wreckless. Same week got it dry cleaned.
It really is beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice.
