Diane Freis Dress Women Vintage Boho Floral Beaded Detail Smocked Pleated

Good Pre-owned Condition; most of the beading is in good condition. There might be a couple spots where some beads might be missing but nothing disastrous. Please refer to measurements shown in photos to assure proper fit.  Diane Freis began her fashion career in the early 1970s and rose to popularity by the 1980s. Her comfortable and easy-to-wear, boho designs were extremely well received by her mostly Californian clientele. Freis’ designs are praised for being light and low-maintenance, perfect for the woman on-the-go. This circa 1992 dress is done in a vivacious printed georgette. A large floral motif of violet and crimson flowers interspersed by flourishes of green float across a royal blue ground. Beads in matching colors have been stitched on adding both dimension and texture to the fabric. At the neckline there are two blue tassels with red beads that can be styled as desired. The dress is lined in a sheer chiffon. The elastic shirred waist provides excellent stretch allowing this dress to simply slip on for wear. Always happy to answer questions!
