Dick Tracy #4, The "Unprinted" Stories, Gladstone, 1988, NM 9.4 Police detective Dick Tracy is one of the classic newspaper strips, originating in a violent urban setting of the 1930s and continuing into the next century. Dick Tracy’s world, consisting of weird villains and bizarre, often brutal situations, is the constant that defines the strip. This series presents comic strips featuring Chester Gould’s legendary detective, Dick Tracy. The stories are considered “unprinted” because they have not been previously collected into comic book format. The collection was produced using Gould’s own scrapbooks of syndicate proofs, with the permission of his daughter. All images are those taken by our staff, we do not use Stock Photos. We are not professional graders, therefore we do the best we can to provide you a grade, if anything though, we probably under-grade to be safe. Grade: NM 9.4 A very well-preserved collectible with minor wear and small manufacturing or handling defects.
